John's Funeral service will take place in the Woodland Hall at GreenAcres Chiltern on Tuesday 29th October 2024 at 1pm.

Parking is available within the woodland, you will park in the main carpark and then walk to the Gathering Hall. Please make yourself known to a member of the GreenAcres grounds team if you have mobility issues and they will assist you with alternative parking.

Following the burial you are warmly invited to celebrate John's life at The Beech House restaurant, parking is available behind the restaurant. Details can be found below.

Whilst it is advised to wear sensible shoes for the woodland and warm clothing, please wear your dancing outfits underneath and bring your dancing shoes for the wake.

Travel Information from London:

Take the train from London Marylebone to Beaconsfield, using your contactless card, phone or Oyster as normal. Recommended train departs 11:40 arrives 12:06.

Take taxi from the station – there is a ticket office at the station, or call their telephone number 01494 672 672 to book taxis in advance to meet the train. Uber also works in this area of the country, if you prefer to call an Uber.  The taxi will take about 10 minutes to reach Greenacres. 

At Beech House Restaurant, there will be a hot meal for everyone with a choice of: 

• Lemon & Thyme Roasted Chicken with roasted carrots, parsnips, celeriac & swede (Gluten Free option) or 
  
• Roasted Red Pepper & Courgette Lasagne, with rich tomato and fennel seed sauce, artisan flatbread (Vegan option) 
  The meals come with house salad and garlic new potatoes. This meal will be John’s favourite dessert, Pastel de Nata.
